Upon turning 40 I've made some discoveries, one being this:
The way to show someone you care about them is, in part, to care about the things that matter to them. Life is not a chocolate pie (or whatever kind you like) which we're supposed to eat all by ourselves...we're supposed to share with family and friends, and even strangers.
Part of love is sharing. Part of love is being patient. Part of love is trust. Part of love is space.
Part of life is recognizing what is love, and what isn't... The Serenity Prayer follows~
